The display screen is usually divided into LCD and LED from different principles, and most of the displays we used in the past were LCD, such as computer screens, TVs, mobile phone screens, etc.
 
LED displays are used in lighting, billboards, and indicator lights. In the 1990's LEDs have evolved a long time ago, and by 2000 they had become the only option for outdoor displays.
LEDs have three different characteristics compared to LCDs

Seamless

The LCD display has seams when splicing, but the LED display can be spliced seamlessly. It depends on whether their structure is different or not, so we choose LED as the big screen.

Ability to protect

Through face shields and GOB technology, LED displays are widely used outdoors because of their strong protection capabilities, which LCD displays cannot have.

brightness

This is the decisive reason why you should choose an outdoor LDE display. The width of the LED display is 2~10 times that of the LCD display, and the LCD display in this way is simply incomparable in outdoor advertising.
 
Nowadays, LED displays are still evolving, with lower cost and higher resolution.
